To run hlix we use a small number of service providers ("subprocessors"). Each one gets only the data it needs, under a contract that limits its use of that data. This page lists them by category.
The named list is available on request at support@hlix.ai.
Categories
- Cloud hosting and database. Runs the hlix service and stores account data and workspace content. Location: EU.
- File storage. Stores project files, archives and evidence from automated checks. Location: EU.
- Code environments. Runs your project's code and our agents in isolated environments. Location: EU.
- AI model gateway and model providers. Run the AI models that do the work, including search results the models use. Location: United States and other countries.
- Text embeddings. Turn text into vectors so hlix can recall earlier conversations and memory. Location: United States and other countries.
- Web page reading. Fetches public web pages when hlix reads a link. Location: United States and other countries.
- Email delivery. Sends sign-in codes, invitations and notifications. Location: United States and other countries.
- Payment processing. Takes payments and manages subscriptions. Location: United States and other countries.
- Website hosting and content delivery. Serves our website and dashboard, and protects them from attacks. Location: global network.
Services you connect
When you connect your own code host, issue tracker, chat app or AI model account, hlix sends data to it on your instruction. Those services are yours to choose, and they are not our subprocessors.
Changes
Before we add or replace a subprocessor, we tell business customers who have signed our Data Processing Addendum, so they can object. We give 30 days' notice by email.
